Projects become increasingly interesting and engaging with motion yet most teachers don’t have the interest or bandwidth to develop a reliable drive system. It would be awesome to build a continuous belt or axle drive system that snaked the halls of our school. Different students and projects could then attach a standardized power-take-off to capitalize on the drive system and animate or provide rotational energy to their projects. This would be a great cross-grade project.
